Can I Wash My Silk Pillowcase In The Washing Machine?
All of our silk pillowcases are machine washable.
Wash inside out on a delicate cycle at 30 degrees, using a silk detergent.
Note: Do not use normal washing detergent or fabric softender when washing your silk pillowcase as it can reduce the shine and glossy feel of your silk pillowcase.
Which Washing Machine Setting Should I Use To Wash My Silk Pillowcase?
We recommend your silk pillowcase is washed on a silk or delicates cycle with silk detergent only and no fabric softener.
Please ensure you turn the spin feature off as the friction from spinning can affect the texture.
Can I Use Fabric Softener When Washing My Silk Pillowcase?
We do not recommend the use of fabric softener when washing your silk pillowcase. A good silk detergent will preserve the look and feel of your silk pillowcase for many years to come.
Which Detergent Should I Use To Wash My Silk Pillowcase?
We recommend that only silk detergent is used when washing your silk pillowcase to keep it as good as new and maintain its glossy, silky texture.
Can I Put My Silk Pillowcase On A Spin Cycle?
We recommend you do not put your silk pillowcases on a washing machine spin cycle. The friction causes by the spin cycle can affect the texture of your pillowcases.
We recommend it is only washed on a silk or delicates cycle and the spin cycle turned off.
We also recommend that your silk pillowcase is turned inside out before washing in a washing machine.
It can then be hung to dry without heat and should look and feel as good as new afterwards.
Can I Tumble Dry My Silk Pillowcase?
We do not recommend you put your silk pillowcase in a tumble dryer, as it can cause shrinkage and reduce the shine and gloss of your pillowcase.
Can I Wash My Silk Scrunchies?
Just like our silk pillowcases and silk eye masks, our silk hair scrunchies are machine washable and can be washed safely with silk detergent on a 30 degree cycle with no heat or tumble drying.
Washing your silk scrunchies is a great way to prolong their life and keep them looking and feeling fresh.

Are The Silk Club's Silk Pillowcases Made From Pure Mulberry Silk?
All of our silk pillowcases are made from our finest 100% pure mulberry silk of grade 6A with a weight of 22 momme. This ideal weight and thickness ensures optimal durability while delivering maximum benefits for sleep, hair, and skin care.
What Size Silk Pillowcase Do I Need?
If you are in the UK, the standard pillowcase size is Queen Size, which measures 70cm by 50cm and will fit a standard UK pillow of the same size.

Will My Silk Pillowcase Come In A Gift Box?
Our silk pillowcases are perfectly presented in a stunning, plastic-free drawer box, thoughtfully designed to make the perfect gifts for loved ones.
Our gift boxes feature a pearlescent finish with our logo stamped in metallic rose gold on the front. Each pillowcase is wrapped in tissue paper and sealed with a Silk Club stamp, individually placed in its box, ensuring a beautifully presented unboxing experience.
At Silk Club, we are deeply committed to sustainability. We ensure that every element of our packaging is not only beautiful but also environmentally responsible - completely free from plastic.
Do The Silk Club Use Non-Toxic Dyes?
We do not use toxic dyes for our silk pillowcases, scrunchies or any of our silk products.
All of our silk pillowcases are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, which means they have been independentely tested for harmful dyes, substances and chemicals to ensure contact with skin is safe and no substances that are harmful to the skin or environment are present.
Type Of Pillowcase Enclosures
Our range of silk pillowcases all feature a hidden zip enclose which is small and discreet so you will not feel it.
The benefit of a zippered silk pillowcase, or a zip enclosure, is that it prevents the pillowcase from coming off, which is more likely to happen with silk pillowcases due to their glossy and slippery surface.
Do The Silk Club's Pillowcases Feature Embroidery?
Our silk pillowcases come beautifully presented in a branded gift box, but the pillowcases themselves are free from any embroidered logos or exterior branding.
While we’re proud of our logo and branding, we want your pillowcases to seamlessly complement your bedroom decor without distractions. It’s all about creating a luxurious and harmonious look for your space!
Additionally, embroidered branding adds another element that can experience wear and tear, so keeping our silk pillowcases embroidery-free should help them to last longer too!
Are The Silk Club's Pillowcases Silk or Satin?
All of our silk pillowcases are 100% 6A 22 momme mulberry silk, made entirely from natural fibres, unlike satin which is often made from synthetic fibres.
Silk and satin are often used interchangably, however they are not the same thing. Satin refers to a type of weave, whilst silk refers to a type of fabric.
Whilst silk pillowcases help to keep you cool at night, satin pillowcases can make you feel hot and sticky and do not provide the same benefits to the hair and skin as their silk counterparts.

How long Does Standard Delivery Take?
Our standard delivery time is 2 - 3 days. We also offer an express service which is 1 - 2 business days.
How Do I Qualify For Free Delivery?
All orders over £50 qualify for free UK delivery.
What Happens If I Miss My Delivery?
If you miss your delivery, you can go online and use your Royal Mail tracking number to rearrange it for another day or you can pick it up from your local sorting office or post office.
How Will My Order Be Sent?
Your order will be sent by Royal Mail 24 or Royal Mail 48, depending which service is selected at checkout.
Are Items Sent In Eco-Friendly Packaging?
Alll of our items are sent out in plastic-free packaging made from recycled paper.
We strive for sustainability and responsible shopping, eliminating plastic from all of our packaging.
We only use paper packing tape and avoid the use of unneccesary packaging, whilst ensuring your items arrive in perfect condition.

Do The Silk Club Avoid Harsh Dyes & Chemicals That Damage The Environment?
We only use safe and non-toxic dyes and all of our silk products are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, meaning they've been independentely tested at each production stage for harmful dyes, substances and chemicals. This ensures no substances that are harmful to the skin or environment are present, reducing the risk of contamination and pollution when the item is disgarded.
Is Our Packaging Plastic Free?
All of our packaging is plastic-free and we avoid use of plastics at all costs.
Our gift boxes are made from card and our scrunchies are only ever sent in plastic-free, biodegradable packaging, so you can enjoy your shopping experience guilt-free!
Our shipping packaging uses recycled cardboard and any packing tape used to secure your package is made from recycled paper.
Are Plastic Tags Used?
Any tags on silk scrunchies or silk eye masks are made from paper and we do not use plastic tags.
How Long Do Our Silk Pillowcases Last For?

All of our packaging for our silk pillowcases, scrunchies and sleep masks is biodegradable.
