Can I Wash a Silk Hair Tie?

Absolutely, our all of our silk products are machine washable and they can also be handwashed.

Wash in a mesh wash bag and do not put on a spin or dry cycle.

To retain their soft, glossy feel, use only silk detergent and avoid fabric softener.

Are silk hair ties suitable for sleeping?

While they will certainly cause fewer knots and tangles than standard hair bands when sleeping, for the best protection we recommend our classic or large scrunchies depending on hair thickness.

Their bigger silky surface area is ideal for keeping your tresses knot-free no matter how much you toss and turn during the night.

For a comfortable night’s sleep, we recommend our classic silk scrunchies, while those with thicker or curly hair may prefer our large scrunchies for a gentle, secure hold.
